David Shalaby |
David Shalaby, Founder/President
Dave
Shalaby founded InSource Consulting in 1997 after spending four
years within Accenture’s Financial Services group. For almost 15
years, he has been involved in transforming many of the top
financial services organizations into leaner and more effective
entities.
Experience:
As an entrepreneur, it is Dave’s quest to re-invent InSource
bi-annually to meet the challenging needs of the industries and
clients it serves. Since its inception, InSource has garnered
some of the most respected clients within the financial
services, healthcare, and manufacturing industries.
Aside from product and service evolution, Dave has established
and nurtured a consistent client service approach: From business
development through solution design and delivery, InSource views
each client individually, examining and understanding direction,
goals and obstacles. It is the trust and credibility InSource
brings to every interaction that transforms individual projects
into solid partnerships with some of the most significant
companies in the world.
Other than his entrepreneurship, Dave’s particular expertise
lies in the Life and Annuity business of insurance. He has depth
of experience in technology and operations and has successfully
driven several integrations, mergers, acquisitions, new
business/product creations and platform/vendor evaluations.

Michele McAuley |
Michele McAuley,
Senior Vice President of Marketing
Strategically and
operationally, Michele has been with InSource since the
beginning, in 1997. As an original member and part of the
present-day Senior Leadership Team, she has been a constant
contributor to product and service direction, marketing
strategy, financial goals, employee development, recruiting
strategy and culture development.
Experience:
Michele has held
direct responsibility for financial reporting, financial
operations, development of the executive long-term incentive
plan, management of employee benefits, legal review,
communication and marketing initiatives.
Her main objective is to ensure that all of the support
functions of InSource meet the needs of the agile consulting
core; that InSource can expediently and effectively meet the
needs of both clients and InSource team members. Michele
believes that “InSource has a team of incredible professionals
who have knowledge and creativity to apply to client solutions
that are optimal for the individual client. They provide value
to our clients and I strive to make it easy and rewarding for
them to do so. Our clients understand and support our efforts
and recognize that they ultimately benefit.”
Before joining InSource, Michele’s career was spent in marketing
and sales in the industries of advertising and pharmaceuticals.
Living in Connecticut, she works from the InSource home office
in Windsor.

Jim Luttrell |
Jim Luttrell, AVP, Chief of Staff
Jim Luttrell serves
as InSource’s Chief of Staff, managing internal staff as well as
managing business development and providing oversight of
engagements for several of our Fortune 500 clients.
Experience:
He brings over twenty-five years of experience to this position.
In achieving this level of success, he has functioned as a
Project Manager and a Program Director. Jim has made significant
contributions to the success of major projects in the Financial
Services industry for such Fortune 1000 companies as General
Electric and Colonial Penn Insurance. He has successfully
managed due diligence and merger and acquisition initiatives,
while leading the post sale platform and systems integrations.
Additionally, Jim has lead the sale and transition of insurance
books of business to a third parties, while managing the overall
plans for moving operations functions between multiple sites.
Jim is an advocate of strong project management methodologies
and tools. He continues to utilize his skills in this area to
successfully lead major projects as the manager of PMO
organizations. He has also developed expertise in the
implementation of business process solutions to increase the
efficiency of enterprise operations.
Jim’s early career in the industry included business experience
in Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Quality Control and Customer
Service. His application experience has included systems
integration, disaster recovery, model office and business
testing, and TPA processing.

County Community College. He also is Six Sigma trained.

Mary Tiberii |
Mary Tiberii, Chief Operating Officer
Mary delivers strategic enterprise-wide solutions by utilizing her financial, technology and
leadership expertise in a collaborative approach to achieve business success
Experience:
In her role as Chief Operating Officer and as senior level consultant, Mary brings twenty-plus years of experience and in-depth knowledge of financial, business, technology, program and portfolio management that maximizes investment and financial results.
Mary’s key skills include consulting, strategic problem solving, risk mitigation, portfolio administration leveraging dynamic financial modeling techniques, and significant M&A and underwriting expertise.
Mary has worked in variety of financial, business, consulting and shared service executive positions where she has created new organizational and shared services models and has had accountability for the success of the overall financial and asset management performance. She has lead and participated in conceiving and articulating strategic vision for many organizations and ensured that systems and processes are clearly aligned to effectively deliver on the strategic vision, mission and business objectives.
In addition, Mary has held a senior role with a consulting organization spearheading the strategic business planning and solution design functions. This included responsibility for the key technical disciplines, developing the partnering and alliance strategy, leading the Knowledge Management initiative as well as jump-starting the strategic consulting practice by leading several key projects.
During her 14 year career at a large multinational bank, her responsibilities included administration of a Commercial and Real Estate portfolio, including the establishment of capital reserves. She also evaluated various domestic and international portfolios with an emphasis on reducing classified credits. During her tenure, she developed exceptional underwriting and credit skills, knowledge of UCC, Bankruptcy, Real Estate and other legal issues. She also employed various negotiation and consulting techniques, knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues, due diligence and gained other acquisition experience including portfolio and operation integration, and the ability to liaise among multiple constituents including technical, business, customers, community and senior management.

Brian Harris |
Brian Harris, Vice President, Strategy
Brian is responsible for and brings the same level of passion
and analytic rigor to both our strategy consulting work with our
clients and InSource’s strategy. Brian’s background includes a
combination of strategic and line management experience with a
strong record of successful execution. He is bottom line and
results oriented; customer focused; and, delivers excellent
client satisfaction scores.
Experience:
Brian’s client work includes the entire spectrum of IT issues on
the executive agenda, leading large scale IT transformation
programs, and transforming IT capabilities. He has earned his
clients’ confidence as a business advisor and program manager,
identifying and solving strategic problems and following up with
implementation, working at the CEO, COO, CIO, and VP level.
From a business perspective, Brian’s consulting work includes
business strategy, return on investment analysis, business
process redesign, rigorous financial analysis,
mergers/acquisition/divestiture selection, business planning,
and profitability modeling. He is a expert in issues on the CIO
agenda including IT transformation, cost reduction, strategy and
business alignment, demand management and project
prioritization, governance, organization, on- and off-shore
sourcing, package software implementation, methods, enterprise
architecture, standards, and testing. He led an IT
transformation that reduced costs by 25% while maintaining
service levels and throughput. He often is called upon to
facilitate workshops and clearly communicate findings to client
executives.
His 20 years of experience in technology and business at
world-class organizations spans a range of industries including
financial services, healthcare, and high-tech. Before joining
InSource, Brian worked at marquee firms Accenture, CSC, Oracle,
and Booz.

Lee Barrett |
Lee Barrett SVP, Healthcare Practice
Lee Barrett is a Senior Vice President, and member of InSource’s Senior Leadership team.
Lee is responsible for establishing our Healthcare strategy and for driving sales in that line of business.
Experience:
Lee brings with him over 20 years of expertise working for Payers including MassMutual, Travelers, CT Mutual, and Aetna.
He has also held senior level positions in national Healthcare practices including Covansys, SAIC, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He worked for 4 years as the President/CEO of Healthcare product companies including the Medical Banking Exchange (MBEXX), sold to M&I Bank, and Claredi Corp, which was sold to Ingenix (a United Health Group Co.). Lee has also worked as an Executive Vice President for the American Dental Association Business Enterprises Inc. (ADABEI), the for-profit subsidiary of the ADA, where he headed new product development for dental providers.
Lee served as Founder/Chair of the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC), insurance Subcommittee for 8 years, was Chair and on the Board of Directors for the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI), and also was Executive Director for the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC), a non-profit national and federally recognized healthcare accreditation organization.
Lee Barrett also participated as a member of InSource’s advisory committee, and is a nationally recognized healthcare thought leader and presenter at major events, conferences and forums.

Steve Lowry |
Steve Lowry, Vice
President Solutions Design
Steve has extensive corporate and consulting experience with
Fortune 500 companies in the Healthcare, Insurance, and
Financial Services industries. With a passion for problem
solving, he works with our clients to understand their business
challenges and collaboratively arrive at solutions that are
actionable and deliver value.
Experience:
Steve has led numerous business and technology projects ranging
from focused, small teams to the largest, most complex,
cross-organizational efforts.
He has significant experience in helping clients establish
vision, setting business priorities and aligning business and IT
objectives.
He has worked with senior management in delivering Business and
IT strategy, portfolio management, planning, as well as across
the full systems development lifecycle. Prior to joining
InSource, Steve worked for some of the leading consulting firms
in the industry, including: Price Waterhouse, KPMG, and
BearingPoint.
He has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and has
experience with many of the leading payors including, national,
regional, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. In the insurance and
financial services space, Steve has experience helping clients
with new product definition, business process management, and
technology integration.
Steve is familiar with a wide variety of technologies and
architectures from mainframe legacy environments to open systems
to service oriented architectures. He has led numerous software
selections, managed vendor relationships and third party systems
integrations, and built and integrated a wide variety of
software applications and databases.
Steve has established and run program offices, set standards,
performed cost benefit analysis, and tracked costs and benefits
realization. He is trained in DMAIC principles, including
process mapping, root cause analysis, metrics, common/special
cause variance and voice-of-the-customer.

Jerry King |
Jerry King,
Vice President Solutions Delivery

Bring on change. Jerry will deliver holistic solutions that
work.
Experience:
Involved in a variety of business/technical integration and
transformation projects over the last decade, Jerry is an
integral InSource leader from concept to completion.
His
strong background in situational analysis, business process
workflows, systems conversions, tracking and testing coupled
with his ability to define new business/technical strategic
plans makes him a ‘go to’ leader in the company for many of our
consultants.
After a
great consulting start with Accenture (formerly Andersen
Consulting), Jerry came to InSource to work with senior
executives on sensitive issues such as staffing as well as
complex issues such as integrating business and technology.
Always with a focus on team collaboration, Jerry is our primary
driver of our business growth and increased presence in the
Boston area.
